The electrochemical behavior and passive film properties of Hastelloy C22 alloy, laser-cladding coating, Ti–6Al–4V alloy in sulfuric acid dew-point corrosion environment were investigated through a combination measurements surface analyses. coating exhibited similar passivation repassivation without pitting corrosion, resulting from with bilayer structure consisting Cr2O3-dominated compact inner layer porous outer containing oxides Mo hydroxides Ni Cr. slightly poorer resistance higher sensitivity to localized by the attributed microscale heterogeneity element segregation microstructure introduced process. TC4 performed as preference dissolution ? phase. Compared more stable but resistance, which is less protective single-layer Ti Al. An increase temperature degrades stability accelerates charge transfer
